I, The Cranberry Room, am the most spacious of your Cape Cod home’s bedrooms and where you will be most reminded of the Cape’s history and most notable export. The cranberry-colored walls, its painting of seasonal pickers reminiscent of our family’s scooping the red berries in the bogs each September, and the scoop on the antique desk acquaint you with a unique farming tradition. The burgundy and gold bedspread complements the mauve settee with a chair nearby for your comfort. My queen-size bed is attached to an ebony iron headboard. Enter your bath and the green decor reinforces your being in the heart of Cape Cod country. I am what the land of Cape Cod is all about so rest and enjoy being close to its earth.

I am the Bay Room on the second floor sandwiched between the Harvest Dreams Room and the Cranberry Room. My fair-weather blue walls bring water and sky to mind complemented by the tropical ceiling fan with its wide blades giving you the impression of a cabana. My queen-size bed with its blue-gray spread is surrounded by furnishing of a rich deep brown on a hardwood floor. Should you decide to read, you can flip switches to light reading lamps above right next to a brass headboard. Entering my bathroom you’ll find the walls deepening to an ocean blue whose tiled flooring with swirls of pastel blues and greens give the feeling of walking on a mural of a coral reef. This is a room for your comfort and rest in a peaceful setting, so settle in and enjoy.

I am the Harvest Dreams Room on the second floor next to the elevator. Your first impression of me might be the lemony yellow walls and ceiling giving you the feeling of light and warmth, especially when the morning sun beams through the octagon windows to touch the hardwood floor. My coverlet on the queen-size bed is designed with repetitious five-inch squares of chiffon in yellow, light beige and light green/gray with geometric designs in their centers. My eclectic furniture is coffee brown and white wood. Should you want to lie on the bed to read in comfort, just flick switches to turn on the reading lamps above next to the white iron and brass spiral headboard. Your private bathroom has more of my sunny and outdoor hues in the yellow-based light green walls. A roll-in shower is accessible for disabled and senior guests and anyone else who needs more space and ease to maneuver. I meet Americans with Disabilities Act compliance standards.
